Technical Sales Engineer

Salary: Base salary + bonuses, dependant on experience

Simpleware is currently looking for a technical sales engineer who is passionate about working with clients and developing sales opportunities for our software solutions.

You will be working within our sales team, and will be providing sales support to new and existing customers ranging from international blue chip corporations to research institutions and universities.

This role will primarily involve:

• Expansion and retention of customer base
• Establishing new, and maintaining existing, long-term relationships with customers
• Actively seeking new sales opportunities
• Travelling to visit potential clients and demonstrate our software products

• Engineering degree with some commercial experience
• Highly articulate and customer-focussed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Good interpersonal skills
• High enthusiasm and drive coupled with the ability to work in a flexible environment
• Some knowledge of computational modelling techniques (Finite Element, CFD, CAD) would be an advantage

The position will involve considerable travel both within the UK and abroad. Simpleware will provide an attractive salary package which will include substantial performance based bonuses.
